ABOUT LAKE POINT SWIM SCHOOL

We are excited to share our passion for swimming with your children! We believe private swim lessons are a great way for children to get one-on-one attention in the water so they can feel safe and gain confidence. Our instructors have experience teaching children with a variety of skill levels. These lessons are for children ages 3-12 taught by experienced swim lesson instructors. Parent Tot classes are also provided in small group sessions for children aged 0-3. We are excited to announce our new water aerobics classes for adults!

  • DO I NEED TO SIGN A WAIVER BEFORE MY FIRST LESSON?
Yes! You can fill out the form online or at the pool. Please come at least 5 minutes before your first lesson to sign the waiver in person. Please note that you must complete the waiver each year.
  • WHERE IS THE POOL LOCATED?
2045 Pheasant Lane, Lake Point, UT. You may enter at your session time using the gates that lead to the backyard.
  • WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO EACH LESSON?
*swimsuit *towel *goggles (We have some to borrow if you don't have your own.) *swim diaper (for children under 3 or not toilet trained)
  • WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE A LESSON?
To cancel or reschedule, please do so at least 10 hours before your appointment. To do so, visit your account and login, then go to My Bookings. Here you will be able to see your lessons and be able to cancel or reschedule them.
  • DO WE RECOMMEND PARENTS STAY OR LEAVE DURING LESSONS?
If possible, we recommend parents stay. Parents can take pictures or videos of their students and help encourage students. We welcome other children who may not be swimming, but they need to stay out of the pool until it is their turn. It is also the parent's responsibility to watch their children who are not swimming.
  • WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT AT EACH LESSON?
Many lessons are back to back, so make sure you arrive a few minutes early to take full advantage of your child's swim time. Instructors will initially discuss with the parent or child (depending on their age) what the child's level of experience is. After assessing where the child is, the instructor will individualize the lesson for the child, helping them progress as quickly and safely as the child is comfortable with.
  • WHAT KIND OF POOL ARE THE LESSONS HELD AT?
The pool is an inground saltwater pool. We heat the pool to keep it comfortable.
  • WHERE DO I PARK?
Parking will be available on the East side of the house and in front of the grass along the street. Our instructors will be parking on the West side of the house. Please do not park in front of neighboring houses.
  • WILL THE GNATS BE BAD DURING LESSONS?
We have contracted with the Mosquito Squad to help eliminate as many of these pesky insects as possible.
